New book release : “ The governance of Competitiveness in the European Film Industry”
This book opens up a new pathway in revisiting and optimising the European Film Industry's (EFI) competitiveness. Through a multilevel governance lens of research and analysis, the chapters dissect film competitiveness across the domains of culture, professionals’ views, policy frameworks and current and future audiences.

Marie FIERENS est chercheuse FNRS et chargée de cours à l'Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Ses recherches portent sur les médias en Afrique subsaharienne francophone, en particulier dans les zones de conflit. En plus de publier des livres, articles et rapports en français et en anglais, elle produit également des podcasts de recherche récompensés (https://mo-saic.blog/).
Lucile Coenen is a FNRS applicant at ULB. Her research focuses on issues of identity, diversity, and on-screen representations at the intersection of cultural studies, media studies, and audience studies.
